We are a High School student based program. Students grades 9-12th are welcome to our program. We have students from all over Michigan & Upper Peninsula! We welcome ALL students!

How do I make an appointment?

You won't believe how easy it is! Call us 231-818-9126

Leave a detailed voicemail, your call will be returned in the order received. Calls are returned after our work day, be patient.

Can I just come in, without an appt?

NO. Nope. Nadda. Don't do it.

Leave us a detailed voicemail. Please be patient we'll return your calls in the evening, after we are done working.

What am I allowed to borrow & How much does this cost?

We have dresses (short & long) shoes, jewelry, for the gals. We have suits, dress shirts, ties and shoes for the gents.

There is a small $20 fee to borrow items.

How do I return a Formal Attire? Do I need an appointment?

Return your borrowed items the day after your dance. Along with the hanger and most importantly your paperwork. You do NOT need an appointment, Sunday 12-5! Coming from a distance, you're welcome to mail things back. Returns are SIMPLE!

How many people can come with me to my appointment?

We encourage you to bring your mom, bonus mom, bestie and or grandma! Please be respectful that there will be other students having appointments, keep it to 2-3 people joining you. Thanks!

May I bring my date or boyfriend/girlfriend with me?

The simple answer is NO.

We do multiple appointments at a time, this is a privacy and respect policy.

Chelsea's Closet policy wearing shoes in the building...

NO SHOES ALLOWED

Please remove your shoes, boots, flip-flops. You're welcome to wear your socks, bring slippers or go barefoot.

Can I bring snacks and drinks with my to my appointment?

No food or drinks are allowed in Chelsea's Closet. Just like any retail store, this prevents accidents from happing.

Do I need to dry clean or launder the formals?

Absolutely not, we take are of all of the cleaning. Taking away the stress and expense for you. *Remember the items are due the day after your dance.

Do we take donations?

For sure!! We'd love to have you donate dresses, suits, shoes & jewelry. We accept clean items currently in style, no more than 7 years old.

We do not buy or sell dresses, donated to us.

We are unable to accept wedding gowns.

Chelsea's Closet is a high school student program 9th - 12th grade.

No exceptions to this policy.
